How Rhino.fi limits work

Rhino.fi supports enteprise-grade volumes and value and can work with you to ensure that the limits on your account meet your expected transaction activity. With the Advanced Fee & Limit Management extension, these limits are viewable, and we are always happy to discuss extending limits to ensure uninterrupted service to meet your transaction volume and value needs. There are a number of different limits which can be applicable to Rhino.fi activity:

Smart Deposit Address Limits

  • Generated SDAs: Clients will have maximum number of Smart Deposit Addresses (SDAs) which can be created as per their PAYG or Subscription tier. The number of generated SDAs vs the maximum allowance is available within the response of the GET/deposit-addresses/rate-limit-status endpoint and will be available in the Usage page in the Console.
  • Generation Windows: There may also be addition limits which specify the number of SDAs that can be generated over a specific time period e.g over a hour or day. Where this is applicable, these details can be found within the response of the GET/deposit-addresses/rate-limit-status endpoint.
  • Min and Max Deposit Size: This is the minimum $ amount and maximum $ amount which can be received into an SDA and is set at a project level. This information can be found within the SDA limits section of Advanced Fee and Limit Management in the Console or by speaking with your Rhino.fi account manager.

Bridge+Swap Limits

To avoid situations where a transaction value may fall below the onchain costs, Rhino.fi has a minimum deposit amount per token, per chain. For the majority of our enterprise clients and their end customers, this will be significantly below the value they wish to transact. If you have transaction volume which may fall close to or below this please reach out as we may be able to support per-client custom minimum limits. Please note that activity below the set minimum amounts will not be processed. Rhino.fi also has a maximum $ amount per token, per chain which can be bridged / bridge+swapped. This is to ensure an enterprise-grade experience for clients with optimal settlement times. The limits for a specific token on a specific chain can be found within the response of the GET/config/{chain}/{token} endpoint however if you have specific large transaction value activity above this then please do reach out as we can also set per-client transaction limits exceeding this. Please note that activity above the set maximum amounts will not be processed. The response within the POST/quote/bridge-swap/user endpoint will inform if the transaction would fail due to limits being above/below the set values.

1:1 Limits

Deposit limits for 1:1 swap routes follow the same limits as standard SDA deposits. For very large individual transactions (above $1M USD equivalent), contact your Rhino.fi account manager to confirm available liquidity. Volume based limits are applied to protect your app from abuse. These limits are customizable on a case by case basis.
  • Account level limit - the total 1:1 swap volume limit over all transactions within a specified time frame (expressed in days)
  • Recipient level limit - the total 1:1 swap volume limit per specific recipient
Once limits are hit, the service falls back to the market rate. If a recipient hits their limit, only their transactions will fall back to the market rate. For more information of the 1:1 extension: https://docs.rhino.fi/get-started/extensions/stablecoin-swaps For prospects testing the Rhino.fi Stablecoin Activation Stack and for clients wishing to temporarily have lower limits during integration testing, these limits can be lowered. Please reach out to your Rhino.fi account manager to discuss your limit needs.
